I accept students from 3rd grade through adult, beginners through advanced. I recommend students younger than that to explore Suzuki teachers, as it's a really great method for teaching young students! Since I am a public school music teacher, you can rest assured that I have all the appropriate clearances for working with children along with 20-plus years of experience.
Every student is different, has different strengths and weaknesses, and each lesson will be tailored to the individual using primarily traditional methods and classical-based repertoire. Theory and history will be built into the lessons to insure that students are not only building technique on their instrument but they're also building knowledge and understanding.
